Admissions
Admission
to Colleton Preparatory Academy is by formal application and achievement testing.
Transfer students must
also provide transcripts and recent standardized achievement test scores for
evaluation before an admissions decision is made. Students transferring from member schools of SCISA that hold
advanced accreditation who are achieving at the 60th percentile or
higher are admitted upon transfer of records.
All other students are evaluated by the Headmaster with the advice of the
Guidance Counselor. Only those
students who have, in the Headmaster’s judgment, a reasonable chance of
achieving the qualitative standards of advanced accreditation will be admitted.
Students with a history of disciplinary problems or illegal drug use will
not be accepted for admission to Colleton Preparatory Academy.
