Converse College is accepting applications for summer workshops to be held June 20-25 on the Converse campus in Spartanburg.  The following workshops are offered;  CSI Converse, Young Writers Workshop, Visual Arts Workshop, and Theatre Workshop.  Go to www.converse.edu/summerworkshops for more information.
The Youth Learning Institute offers the following summer camps for many ages:  Adventure Summer Camp, Sunset, SC, ages 12-15; Camp Sewee. Awendaw, SC, ages 8-16; Camp Voyager, Pickens, SC, ages 10-14; Camp WIldlife, Summerton, SC, ages 8-14; and 4-H Summer Camp, Summerton, SC, ages 7-9.  For more information, visit the website www.ylicamps.com.

This year, Business Week will be held July 11-16th at Presbyterian College.  This weeklong program gives students an inside look at business, entrepreneurship, and the free enterprise system.  The SC Chamber of Commerce offers SC Business Week for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students form a mock company and will compete to make their company the most profitable.  See Mrs. Carter for an application and more details.

Rising juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a college degree in Agriculture or Natural Resources may be interested in a summer program though Clemson University and the SC Commissioner's School of Agriculture. Applications are available at www.clemson.edu/cafls.

The Leadership Institute at Columbia College offers several summer programs for outstanding freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. For more information, contact Ms Carter in the Guidance Office. The deadline for registration is April 30.
