Capital gifts are generally used to improve the physical plant and technological. They differ from annual fund contributions, which provide support to the operating budget and are expended each year. Instead, capital gifts allow the Academy to look to focus on long-range planning.
In recent years, the following improvements have been made as a result of the school's annual Capital Campaign:
- A new walkway between building
- New playground fencing
- New landscaping in front of the high school building
- New classroom air conditioning
- A campus-wide keyless entry system
- New interior roofing in the gym
- New sound equipment for the gym
- Improved campus-wide cameras
- New tables and chairs in the canteen
- Remodel and update all old restrooms
- A water drainage system
- Additional rubber mulch on the playground
- Campus-wide interior painting
Future capital improvements include:
- An athletic field house
- Centralized restrooms in athletic fields
- A school auditorium
- New fencing around football and baseball fields
